Alongside my fashion and beauty posts I thought I would write more personal posts because I don’t do it very often and would like to document my life a bit more! I have had such a good day today! ♥

I went out for lunch with my flatmate and this was my pudding! I never ever manage to finish these ice cream sundaes but this one was too good not to finish! It was an Oreo-toffee sundae with miniature smarties on top! We had a lovely meal at Harvester before we both go home from University for Easter.

I then braved the horrible weather (today it’s been torrential raining and windy at the same time – not ideal!) to go meet my best friend for a coffee catch up date at Cafe Nero!

I caught up on last night’s episode which was soo good!! I always think they paint Scott in such a bad light though.

I have to read this raunchy little novel for my Neo-Victorianisms module. This book has been one of the easier ones to read on the reading list. Waters’s writing style flows so smoothly – plus the plot is gripping!

This picture I feel represents how much I am taking home with me tomorrow! I’ve literally been packing endless books, clothes and my baking things (keep your eyes peeled for some cake baking tutorials soooon!)

10 Times Kylie Jenner’s Wardobe Was On Point

It is no secret that Kylie Jenner’s fashion sense is currently one of the most talked about. It seems everyone wants to know where to get her look from. At the young age of seventeen her style is influential to many, being both edgy and stylish. Her wardrobe and style is quite different to her other sisters’. She fashioned blue dip dye for her elder sister Kym’s wedding. It definitely makes her unique. Here are a few outfit combinations I love.

I love how edgy meets girly with her white dress/black leather jacket combo, finished off with a cute top knot.

This look is so elegant and sophisticated. The gold shoes really match the whole outfit giving it more of a glam look.

This is the perfect yet practical festival look.

What I love about this outfit is the brown belt which ties the outfit together giving shape to the loose materials.

This is a day or night look but the chunky black bag turns it more into day attire. The colours work really well with each other.

Even though it’s a girly outfit, Kylie makes the outfit her own edgy style by teaming it with the black leather military boots.

This is so simplistic yet made sexy with the slit in the skirt, perfect for red carpet or high profile events/appearences.

Similiar to the outfit above this is simplistic yet sexy.

These ripped shorts combined with the smart blazer gives the outfit an edgy/ smart-casual feel.

I love how she combines the boyfriend jeans with the stripy crop top and top knot – perfect for everyday casual wear.

Day 7 – Five of my Guilty Pleasures

Welcome to Day 7! This article will be on five of my guilty pleasures..

1- Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE the Kardashians. I don’t care who judges me for watching their tv show and spin offs, I will sit there and watch them ALL. I don’t understand why more people like them because they promote such a good body image to women. Their tv shows are frankly really entertaining.

2- Chocolate. Who doesn’t like chocolate?! I literally have to have at least one piece of chocolate everyday. My favourites tend to vary at the time, however at the moment I am loving Dairy Milk Giant Buttons.

3- Dream Street. Back in the day (waaaaaay back in the 90s). They were cheesy pop. They included – Jesse McCartney (who you will have heard of), Greg Raposo, Matt Ballinger, Frankie Galasso and Chris Trousdale. They EVEN had a movie called ‘The Biggest Fan’.

4- McDonald’s fries… McDonald’s in general..No matter how many people tell me how unhealthy it is I still love McDonalds and will find any excuse to have one.

5- FROZEN. Enough said.

Dip Dye Day!

Today I got my hair dip dyed. It is dark at the roots and gradually gets blonder as you go down my hair. I didn’t want it to be really obvious because you see some people’s dip dye and there is a clear line separating the colours. As my hairdresser (who happens to be one of my best friends) said: I wouldn’t want to look like a pint of guiness would I?!

I joked around with my family at tea time and said I was getting it dip dyed. My mom asked what colour, to which I replied with maybe hot pink or electric blue. And I got the look that says ‘hahaha what is your next joke going to be?!’ so I figured I’d play it safe and go for a more, shall we say ‘natural’ look.

I’m a big fan of the dip dye look though! This is the look I tried to go for…
